Role description
Contract Business Analyst
Summary
This is a new 2025 role supporting the PWM portfolio. The position is a contracted through 2025 with high likelihood of renewal, depending on performance. The Business Analyst will support online services through our client-facing web and mobile portal for Private Wealth Management.
β’ Level: High-performing Mid or Senior
β’ Location: Madison or Milwaukee (Hybrid β on-site Tuesdays plus 1β2 additional days per week)
β’ Duration: Through 2025, renewable
Responsibilities
β’ Elicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, workflow analysis, and surveys.
β’ Develop business process documentation, requirements, use cases, and user stories.
β’ Partner with developers, architects, and product owners to define technical vision and tradeoffs.
β’ Evaluate potential solutions for business requirements and financial impact.
β’ Engage with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Lead requirements and data analysis sessions, including modeling.
β’ Collaborate with QA to ensure product quality and validation.
β’ Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business partners, vendors, and testers.
β’ Define project milestones, requirements, and solutions in collaboration with business units.
β’ Lead small projects in a light project management capacity.
Candidate Profile
β’ Demonstrated success in Agile environments.
β’ Strong experience writing business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
β’ Solid understanding of data structures, data integration, and data warehousing.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence without authority.
β’ Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
β’ Team-focused and committed to continuous improvement.

β’ Experience with web applications, client-facing websites, or UI/UX collaboration.
