Business Analyst

Provn are supporting our client, a well-established investment management group, to recruit an experienced contract Business Analyst to support an ongoing replatform of one of their core digital investment platforms. This is a project-focused contract role, supporting a live front-end replatform in partnership with a new technology provider, alongside a pipeline of new product functionality being delivered through an agile model. The role will suit a Business Analyst who is comfortable joining a project at pace, quickly understanding existing functionality, clarifying requirements, documenting integration points and translating business needs into delivery-ready outputs. What You’ll Be Doing • Supporting BA activity across the front-end replatform programme • Reviewing existing platform functionality and mapping requirements for the new solution • Helping ensure critical features, processes and user journeys are retained through the transition • Analysing and documenting API and CRM integration points between the back-office system and new front-end platform • Working with the new technology provider to translate business requirements into clear project documentation and specifications • Running design workshops with internal stakeholders and end users • Writing user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation • Engaging with financial adviser users to understand requirements, validate assumptions and gather feedback • Helping shape upcoming product features ahead of development • Working within Azure DevOps across sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement and delivery tracking • Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams and external delivery partners What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on digital, web application or platform replatforming projects • Strong understanding of API integrations • Comfortable working in agile project delivery environments • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar agile tooling • Ability to run design workshops and turn outputs into user stories and acceptance criteria • Background in investment platforms, financial adviser software or regulated financial services would be highly beneficial We’re looking for someone to start ASAP on a contract basis.
