• Contract Fabric Data Engineer • Day Rate: £425pd OUTSIDE IR35 Location: Remote with occasional travel to Leeds Contract Length: 3 months initial (likely extension to 6) Start: ASAP WRK digital are proud to be partnering with a Leeds/London based company who are looking for a Contract Fabric Data Engineer for an initial 3 month period. This is a rare chance to own and shape a brand-new data solution from the ground up. We’re looking for a Data Engineer with strong SQL and Microsoft Fabric expertise to lead a pilot project. You’ll be stepping into a greenfield space, designing, building, and defining a data capability that doesn’t exist yet. What You’ll Be Doing • Designing and building a new data platform in Microsoft Fabric • Owning the end-to-end data model and architecture • Working with 3rd party data • Delivering a value-for-money framework aligned with regulatory requirements • Acting as the go-to expert, clearly communicating progress and insights What You’ll Bring • Strong experience with SQL • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (essential) • Proven ability to build data solutions from scratch • Comfortable working autonomously and owning delivery • Clear communicator—able to articulate technical progress simply Bonus: • Experience in pensions or financial services • Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects If you’re looking to make a real impact and immediately available please apply!
