Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cloud engineers to gather requirements, design solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives within the banking domain. The role requires strong banking process knowledge and a functional understanding of AWS services
Responsibilities,
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for banking products (retail, payments, lending, deposits, compliance, etc.).
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Work closely with development, QA, and cloud teams to design scalable and secure solutions on AWS.
Support cloud migration initiatives and identify opportunities to leverage AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and facilitate requirement-clarification sessions with stakeholders.
Assist in creating BRDs, FRDs, test cases, and UAT support documentation.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data-security practices, and cloud governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance product performance.
Provide ongoing support, analysis, and reporting for delivered solutions.
Required Skills& Experience
4–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain.
Strong understanding of banking operations such as loans, payments, digital banking, cards, risk, or compliance.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud basics (IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, networking concepts, APIs).
Experience in writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools like JIRA/Confluence.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Good To Have
Experience in cloud migration or fintech transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of data analytics or BI tools.
AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar certification.
