Role description
JustinBradleyβs client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst/Product Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business operations, technology, and user experience. You will play a key role in driving change management, operational support, data-driven insights, and product enhancements while working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Must be local to Reston, VA for their onsite requirement.
Responsibilities:
Change Management
β’ Lead and support change initiatives by documenting release notes, user guides, FAQs, training materials, and stakeholder updates.
β’ Tailor messaging and communication for both internal and external partners.
β’ Ensure stakeholders are informed and equipped to adopt new processes and product updates effectively.
Operations Management
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure smooth operations and user access.
β’ Partner with support and engineering teams to resolve issues and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders.
Story Writing & Grooming
β’ Create, refine, and prioritize detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
β’ Ensure requirements are well understood by development and QA teams.
Data Analysis
β’ Analyze business and user data to identify trends, measure product performance, and provide actionable insights.
β’ Support strategic decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
β’ Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and business units to plan and execute product enhancements.
β’ Facilitate discussions to align priorities, scope, and timelines.
Testing & UAT
β’ Develop and execute test cases and scripts.
β’ Track and report defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
β’ Support user acceptance testing and provide training where needed.
Requirements:
β’ Strong oral and written communication abilities for stakeholder engagement, documentation, and change management.
β’ Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
β’ Experience with JIRA (backlog management, sprint planning, acceptance criteria).
β’ Experience with Confluence (documentation and collaboration).
β’ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and change management frameworks.
β’ Prior experience in product management, business analysis, or operations support.
β’ Exposure to BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
β’ Knowledge of API testing or QA methodologies.
