Business Analyst/Product Analyst

JustinBradley’s client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst/Product Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business operations, technology, and user experience. You will play a key role in driving change management, operational support, data-driven insights, and product enhancements while working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners. Must be local to Reston, VA for their onsite requirement. Responsibilities: Change Management • Lead and support change initiatives by documenting release notes, user guides, FAQs, training materials, and stakeholder updates. • Tailor messaging and communication for both internal and external partners. • Ensure stakeholders are informed and equipped to adopt new processes and product updates effectively. Operations Management • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure smooth operations and user access. • Partner with support and engineering teams to resolve issues and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders. Story Writing & Grooming • Create, refine, and prioritize detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. • Ensure requirements are well understood by development and QA teams. Data Analysis • Analyze business and user data to identify trends, measure product performance, and provide actionable insights. • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven recommendations. Cross-functional Collaboration • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and business units to plan and execute product enhancements. • Facilitate discussions to align priorities, scope, and timelines. Testing & UAT • Develop and execute test cases and scripts. • Track and report defects throughout the testing lifecycle. • Support user acceptance testing and provide training where needed. Requirements: • Strong oral and written communication abilities for stakeholder engagement, documentation, and change management. • Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data. • Experience with JIRA (backlog management, sprint planning, acceptance criteria). • Experience with Confluence (documentation and collaboration). • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and change management frameworks. • Prior experience in product management, business analysis, or operations support. • Exposure to BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). • Knowledge of API testing or QA methodologies.
