Role - Business Analyst/Product Owner
Location - Manchester/Reading/London, UK (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
β’ Elicit and document business requirements for OSS domains: FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security) using UML/BPMN.
β’ Analyze OSS/BSS integration needs for service activation, order management, and customer care workflows.
β’ Conduct gap analysis between current OSS stacks (e.g., Nokia NSP, Huawei iManager) and target architectures for 5G/Cloud-native deployments.
β’ Create functional specs, use cases, and API definitions (REST/SOAP) for OSS northbound interfaces to CRM/BSS systems.
β’ Facilitate workshops with network ops, IT, and vendors to define OSS roadmaps and migration strategies.
β’ Support test case creation, UAT, and defect triage for OSS implementations; track KPIs like MTTR and service uptime.
β’ Ensure compliance with TM Forum eTOM, SID frameworks, and EU telecom regulations (GDPR, NIS2).
Essential Skills & Experience
β’ 4+ years BA experience in telecom OSS projects, including network management and service assurance.
β’ Strong OSS domain knowledge: NMS/EMS systems, TM Forum standards (Open APIs, Digital Twin), inventory management (NBI, RAML).
β’ Technical proficiency: SQL for OSS databases, scripting (Python/Bash), integration platforms (MuleSoft, Kafka), basic Kubernetes for OSS microservices.
β’ Telecom protocols familiarity: SNMP, CORBA, REST APIs; exposure to 5G Core, SDN/NFV.
β’ Enterprise tools experience: Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow ITSM, Talend for OSS data integration, QlikSense reporting.
β’ Proven stakeholder management across UK/EU/Poland/Nordics time zones with remote collaboration expertise.
