Senior Business Analyst • Work with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies. • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client’s unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support. • Supports one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business. • Serve as a project team member or team lead, as needed. • Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis and translation of requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. • Support product owners in prioritizing the product backlog based on business value. • Align IT resources and processes in order to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. • Prior experience as a Business System Analyst, with at least 2 years in an Agile environment, preferably for a backend system writing RESTful APIs • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) • Strong organization, written and oral communication skills • Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details • Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion • Excellent documentation skills, including technical writing. • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Required Skills : -5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst preferably in Banking or Financial Services -Experience with RESTful API's and backend systems -Agile experience (Jira/ADO) -Excellent Communication • • • Must be local to Columbus, Ohio and willing to work onsite 3-4 days per week • • •
