Job Description:-
Key project details:
• Basically, they’ll be working in Data space, understanding what a sql/store procedure does and triaging an issue on report (both in SSRS or PBI)
• Tickets that come to us are typically stating someone didn’t receive a report, or they don’t see the right data on the report, or certain data feed didn’t make it to the customer etc.
• Build data quality control and validation procedures to maintain data accuracy and integrity
• Change mgmt and create new process and create documentation and training
• System design amd implementation - Look at an issue and know how to troubleshoot or escalate to a developer
• Basic power BI no drill downs apps or dashboards - can you make a graph
• Stich together data with joins in SQL and run basic queries in SQL.
• Process analysis of data in current state and work flow and create new processes to make more efficient.
• Agile methodology - sprints every 2 weeks prioritize tasks
• Run a Scrum call every day to send work to offshore.
• They will get gather business requirements and convert them to technical specs
• Collaborate with other BA's to get requirements for new projects or enhancements for new reports or building new data pipeline
• This person needs to have enough technical capabilities for Data Management
• Onsite team is engaged in project work and there are 4 people in India for Production support
• Work on projects/new implementation alongside operations
• Support production environment data warehouse and on cloud data warehouse - Azure
Daily activities:
• 25% gathering requirements
• 25% Triage on issues they receive from the support center (Homegrown incident Mgmt team)
• 25%
• First 6 mos documentation
• 7+mos Building processes and gap analysis
• 25% New project implementation ( meetings collecting ideas, brainstorming and putting business process together on the data piece)

Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) specializing in Data Management & Operations is responsible for optimizing data processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the implementation of data management systems in the commercial loan servicing industry. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing system solutions, and facilitating the seamless flow of data across various platforms. The BSA will collaborate with different departments, including loan servicing, compliance, and IT located onsite and offshore, to ensure data management & operations align with business goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Process Analysis:
o Conduct thorough analysis of data processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
o Conduct data analysis in order to , gather and document business requirements related to data warehouse operations from stakeholders across the organization.
o Become an expert in the data managed and provide thought leadership into transformative initiatives.
1. System Design and Implementation:
o Bring structure to business requests, translate business and data requirements into detailed technical specifications for system design and development.
o Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and test data management systems and enhancements.
o Ensure that data systems meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
o Lead the performance of simple, moderate and complex troubleshooting / maintenance assignments within the department.
1. Data Integration and Management:
o Exceptional SQL skills; High-level technical PBI skills; experience working on design, and oversight of data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between different systems and platforms.
o Implement data quality controls and validation procedures to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
1. Project Management:
o Own and prioritize the team’s backlog, and partner directly with business partners to effectively communicate prioritization and delivery of objectives.
o Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.
o Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
o Identifies solutions independently and with input from internal and external partners, external vendors, and industry contacts to enable best-in-class data management practices, scalability, and cost effectiveness. Leads and consults on new projects to ensure operational readiness upon implementation into the live environment.
o Develop reporting to monitor operational health and progress of efforts.
o Lead work streams focusing on broad range of Data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, and taxonomy
1. User Support and Training:
o Liaise between business and technical teams, provide support to end-users during system implementation and post-implementation phases.
o Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient with new data systems and processes.
1. Reporting and Analytics:
o Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into data operations and business performance.
o Utilize business intelligence tools to create visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.
1. Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure that data operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX).
o Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management and system changes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Data management or data analytics domain, preferably in the commercial loan servicing or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of business processes and workflows in the commercial loan servicing industry.
• Experience with system implementation and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) with teams that are located onsite and offshore.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of Data Management and Reporting principles,
