Position
This position will provide data analysis, data management and data reporting support. This position’s function is to deploy process and business improvement by collecting and summarizing data from multiple sources and integrating data into meaningful reports. This position will draft recommendations on improvements to data management and handling practices and develop and implement consistent, transparent and well-documented reporting of primarily savings and budget metrics for management and program staff. In addition, this position will collaborate and contribute with team members supporting the development of new reporting systems.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support business stakeholders and facilitate gathering and analyzing information
• Develop influence diagrams
• Research, analyze, interview internal customers to gather and understand customer requirements
• Support process improvement and data analysis initiatives
• Conduct research and recommend best methods for various asset management-related functions.
• Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings to facilitate requirements gathering
• Facilitate requirements elicitation workshops
• Evaluate and assess business process change impacts and recommend appropriate change mitigation activities
• Analyze, collect, organize, and validate data and modeling results
• Provide assistance on asset management and quality assurance related issues
• Identify data quality issues
• Write quality assurance reports to identify data quality issues
• Aggregate asset management data
• Create Access Databases (with experience modeling robust and intuitive user interfaces), SharePoint sites, advanced Excel spreadsheets, Visio flowcharts and input information into MS Project.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Corresponding Experience
• A degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, Accounting, Computer Science, (or closely related field) is preferred.
• With an applicable Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience is required.
• With an applicable Associates degree, 7+ years of experience is required.
• Without an applicable degree, 9+ years of experience is required.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
• 3 years of experience conceptualizing and planning initiatives for data integration, gathering information, and performing business systems analysis.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Access database design and administration.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Visio and/or other flowchart tools.
• Experience in automating with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
• Expert knowledge and mastery of SharePoint.
• Expert level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, charting and reporting.
