Title: Business Data Analyst Location: 100% Remote (CST/PST working hours) ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY The Apple Store Online Operations Team is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join the Workforce Strategy & Analytics (WSA) group. We are looking for a highly skilled, data-driven professional with strong technical expertise in data architecture, data pipelines, and data growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and optimizing data systems that enable high-quality, scalable analytics to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement. THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data manipulation, ETL processes, and data integration to build a unified data foundation, serving as the single source of truth for ASO Operations business performance and operational metrics. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring the data is clean, scalable, and easily accessible for actional decision making. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing and automating reporting systems that provide stakeholders with timely, accurate insights, enabling data-driven business outcomes and operational improvements. The project you will be stepping into is to help build and optimize a new data warehouse doing manual work through excel, along with pairing the platforms and systems on how they link together through optimizing the data warehouse. KEY SUCCESS FACTORS 1. 6+ year's experience with Data Storage Solutions such as relational database (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databse (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra), and cloud-based Data Warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Amazon Redshift). 1. Experience in using data engineering techniques to support workforce or operations planning, including developing data models and pipelines for operational insights and decision-making. 1. Strong understanding and background in business operations/business analytics, with the ability to leverage advanced analytics to answer complex business management questions and identify root causes, driving informed data driven decisions and forecasts. NICE TO HAVES 1. Communication Skills: Ability to tell a compelling story with data, presenting insights in a clear and actionable manner. 1. Experience with data governance and implementing data quality frameworks, ensuring accurate and consistent data across the organization. 1. Familiarity with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and automation tools to manage large-scale data systems efficiently.
