Job Description This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity with a national organization leading the charge in tolling and transportation infrastructure. The team operates at the intersection of technology, public-private partnerships, and customer experience—leveraging cutting-edge data strategy to drive smarter, faster, and more efficient mobility solutions. They’re currently seeking a Business Data Analyst with a strong hybrid background across data engineering, business systems, and analytics. This person will serve as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders—supporting digital transformation efforts through clean data pipelines, stakeholder insights, system documentation, and user training. Contract duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, development, or database administration • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) • Experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing best practices • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical deliverables • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking • Clear, confident communicator with executive-level presentation skills • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word • Able to work independently while navigating cross-functional priorities Desired Skills & Experience • Experience working in high-volume transaction environments (e.g. transportation, tolling, payments) • Familiarity with cloud database platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Scripting experience in Python, R, or similar languages • Exposure to SDLC and Agile environments • Comfort working with external vendors or outsourced service teams What You Will Be Doing Work Breakdown • 50% Data Analysis, Reporting & Dashboard Development • 25% Business Requirements Gathering & Documentation • 15% Testing, UAT, and Training Development • 10% Stakeholder Communication & Strategic Input Daily Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret large datasets to support business decisions • Develop data validation processes and support governance initiatives • Lead user testing, system walkthroughs, and documentation • Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation • Translate non-technical business needs into functional data-driven solutions • Serve as a liaison between IT, business units, and external partners You Will Receive The Following Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future.
