Genesis10 is seeking a Business / Data Analyst position for a healthcare client. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with a possible extension. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $50.00 - $53.00 an hour per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Business / Data Analyst with strong expertise in medical claims processing and data analysis within enterprise data warehouse environments. The resource will work as part of an established Scrum team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to monitor claim processing, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Engage with the Scrum team to understand business requirements related to claims processing monitoring.
β’ Explore Enterprise Data Warehouse (UDW) tables (Teradata and Snowflake on Azure) to identify relevant data attributes and evaluate data completeness, quality, and usability.
β’ Perform data analysis to detect patterns and anomalies in claims processing.
β’ Develop and deliver summary reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
β’ Participate in daily stand-ups, proactively raise blockers, and collaborate for resolution.
β’ Function independently after initial onboarding (approx. 20 working days).
β’ Ensure compliance with organizational data governance and security standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical claims data and general knowledge of how claims are received and processed.
β’ Data Analysis: Ability to query and analyze large datasets in Teradata and Snowflake environments.
β’ SQL Expertise: Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
β’ Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouses and cloud-based platforms (Azure preferred).
β’ Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
β’ Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
