JustinBradley’s client, a leading enterprise in the mortgage and financial services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Business / Data Analyst to join their Data Warehouse team. This role will support ongoing production operations and enhancements by troubleshooting data variances, analyzing source-to-target mapping (STTM), and working directly with development, business, and systems analyst teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data analysis within a data warehouse environment, and the ability to interpret Informatica logic to identify and resolve root causes. This position reports directly to the Data Management Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex requirements by interpreting source-to-target mapping documents (STTM) to troubleshoot data variances and failures in production environments.
• Identify root causes of issues and propose targeted, efficient solutions to enhance data integrity and product quality.
• Read Informatica code to support analysis and resolution of data-related issues.
• Write SQL scripts to perform data corrections and coordinate changes with technical teams to ensure proper implementation in production environments.
• Validate and certify data changes post-implementation to confirm resolution.
• Partner with systems analysts and technical leads to articulate solutions that integrate process, business rules, and data effectively.
• Document and communicate business requirements, findings, and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support data lineage analysis and accurately document data elements and transformations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations to share analytical insights, track issue resolution, and ensure alignment.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ensure alignment with agile project delivery timelines and expectations.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in Business/Data Analysis roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong command of Advanced SQL, particularly on Oracle databases.
• Proven experience working within Data Warehouse/Data Mart environments.
• Ability to read and interpret Informatica code for troubleshooting purposes.
• Strong experience using Toad or similar tools to query and compare data across systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile project environment.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to document and communicate technical findings and business solutions effectively.
• Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working on high-visibility projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience in Single-Family or Multifamily mortgage domains is highly preferred.
