Role description
e&e is seeking a Business/Data Analyst for an onsite contract opportunity in Exton, PA!
We are seeking a skilled Business/Data Analyst to support modernization initiatives at a client in Exton, PA. This role will focus on bridging business and IT needs through data analysis, reporting, and system support to enhance laboratory information management systems (LIMS), reporting processes, and data exchanges with health systems and partner organizations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in healthcare IT and reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
β’ Provide business and data analysis support for laboratory information systems and related data exchange initiatives.
β’ Develop and maintain technical and business requirements, workflows, and process documentation.
β’ Create, maintain, and optimize reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
β’ Collaborate with IT staff, epidemiologists, program staff, and external partners to capture requirements and ensure effective data and system integration.
β’ Support onboarding/offboarding processes for laboratory systems and provide technical assistance across multiple laboratory divisions.
β’ Assist bioinformatics staff with IT infrastructure needs and coordinate with IT delivery center teams on software development and infrastructure projects.
β’ Act as liaison between laboratory staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure system needs are met and projects align with standards.
β’ Participate in technical and business meetings, prepare status updates, and provide required documentation and reporting.
β’ Provide general onsite IT support and troubleshooting in a dynamic laboratory environment.
Requirements:
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis and formalizing system requirements.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft SSRS and Power BI.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, particularly health data standards and exchange (LOINC, SNOMED, HL7, etc.).
β’ Experience in troubleshooting and supporting IT systems in rapidly changing environments.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
β’ Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field preferred.
β’ Desired qualifications:
β’ Experience in laboratory or public health environments.
β’ Experience working in State, Federal, or Local government settings.
