Data Business Analyst Location: London (open to Cardiff, Salford, Glasgow and other UK locations) Hybrid: 1–2 days on-site per week + occasional travel Rate: £550 p/d (Inside IR35, umbrella) Contract Duration: 6 months initially Industry: Media / Broadcast My client is doing a major transformation programme. The successful candidate will work with large volumes of complex data to produce scenario analysis, enhance financial modelling, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. The role involves extracting and cleansing data from existing financial models, designing a new scalable and user-friendly financial model, and migrating data into modern reporting platforms such as Power BI to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required: • Significant experience working with large datasets to produce scenario analysis within a transformation or change programme • Complex data cleansing experience gained within a corporate environment, including data managed by third parties • Extensive experience in financial modelling • Proven experience cleansing and migrating large datasets from Excel into Power BI • Strong experience in one or more data scripting languages or relevant tooling (e.g. Python, R, SQL) • Ability to design and build robust, scalable, and easy-to-use financial models • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights If this role is of interest, please respond to the advert, or contact me directly at anthony.dale@adalta-soutions.com
