Title: Data Business Analyst
Duration: 6 months
Location: probably London but open to Cardiff, Salford, Glasgow etc.
Hybrid: 1-2 days required in the office, along with occasional travel to other client sites as required
Essential
1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex datasets.
1. Proven experience in financial modelling, including building models from scratch.
1. Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
1. Experience in scenario planning, financial forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
1. Ability to think creatively and βoutside the boxβ to solve problems and optimize processes.
1. Solid financial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
1. Strong communication skills to present insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
1. Experience working with poorly structured data and improving data quality.
1. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
1. Able to effectively delegate, manage your own time and prioritise accordingly.
1. Able to simplify complex problems into component parts and deal with them systematically.
1. Significant experience in one or more data scripting language (such as Python, R or SQL) or tooling relevant to the specifics of the role
1. Proven experience developing relationships and managing needs of senior stakeholders at Director level
