The ideal candidate will develop and maintain robust taxonomies, annotation schemas, and knowledge graphs that are vital for machine learning classifications and improve our content understanding capabilities. This role involves close partnership with ML engineers and product developers, ensuring data curation practices meet technical and business needs while contributing to the evolution of content management systems. Key Responsibilities • Create and manage datasets for insights into content ecosystem, enhancing AI-driven user experiences like recommendations and ads targeting. • Develop, maintain, and optimize robust taxonomies, annotation schemas, and knowledge graphs for content understanding and machine learning model improvements. • Troubleshoot and improve language-adjacent and LLM-assisted processes, addressing content ambiguity and semantic labeling. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data curation with business priorities and technical constraints. • Improve annotation guidelines, prompt engineering workflows, and taxonomy quality control, ensuring effective communication across teams. Must-Have Skills • Expert proficiency in spreadsheets for data analysis and quality assurance. • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing taxonomies for ML or LLM-driven applications. • Strong communication skills for effective information management across diverse teams. Domain Experience Required Experience in developing taxonomies and ontologies for large-scale applications in areas such as ads targeting, search and discovery, e-commerce, or content/user understanding is essential.
