Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Title: Lead Data Analyst Contract: 12 months to start 100% Remote | Open to Candidates Across the U.S. Additional Information: • This is a W-2 contract role. • We are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this role. • No corp-to-corp (C2C) or third-party arrangements will be considered. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our team on a 100% remote contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in translating business needs into data-driven solutions and leading the execution of complex analytics projects. Key Responsibilities • Lead data analytics initiatives, providing technical leadership on individual projects and key deliverables. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to leverage domain expertise and drive actionable insights. • Partner with business process owners to ensure data integrity, proper SAP object alignment, and adherence to business requirements. • Support and lead data migration projects, including data mapping, validation, and transformation processes. • Perform and oversee data validation activities across multiple SAP data objects. • Manage project tasks independently while providing leadership and direction for assigned initiatives. • Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for applying data analytics to solve real-world challenges. • Select and apply appropriate data analytics methods and tools tailored to specific use cases. • Present insights and findings to medium-sized audiences, building credibility and trust with stakeholders. • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced problem-solving to identify issues and deliver impactful solutions. • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data analytics solutions. • Drive end-to-end analytics projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and validation. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field. • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in data analytics or a related field. • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL, including scripting, and creating views and tables for dashboards. • Proven ability to work with complex SQL queries in fast-paced environments. • Strong understanding of data transformation, cleansing, and relational database/data modeling concepts. • Experience working with SAP data structures and business process integration. • Proficient in data governance principles, including metadata management, data definitions, and data lineage. • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Preferred: • Master’s degree or higher in a related field. • Experience with Power Query. • Prior experience with data migration projects and ETL processes.
