Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics and cloud supply chain operations within a leading enterprise technology environment. The successful candidate will serve as a critical partner to the cloud supply chain team, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence through master data management, supply chain management, and project coordination. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex data landscapes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this individual will play a pivotal role in supporting order fulfillment processes and delivering high-quality reporting to key stakeholders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with cloud supply chain team members in regular meetings to align on priorities, discuss data findings, and coordinate project activities
β’ Create, edit, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize supply chain metrics and performance indicators
β’ Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain
β’ Support order fulfillment operations by monitoring data accuracy and ensuring smooth execution of supply chain processes
β’ Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate reports for stakeholder consumption
β’ Drive actionable improvements by identifying data quality issues and implementing corrective measures
β’ Maintain master data integrity across supply chain systems and databases
β’ Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions
β’ Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support decision-making on system implementations
β’ Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines and maintaining quality standards
β’ Document processes, findings, and recommendations to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity
β’ Monitor performance indicators and provide regular updates on project status and deliverables
Requirements
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, with specific emphasis on order fulfillment processes
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting functions
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience in project management roles
β’ 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and report creation
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business analytics, information systems, or related technical field preferred but not required
β’ Demonstrated experience working with data at or above a junior analyst level, including understanding how data is used and reported across business functions
β’ Proven track record of working successfully in ambiguous environments and adapting to changing priorities
β’ Supply chain planning and order fulfillment expertise
β’ Project management capabilities with ability to handle multiple simultaneous initiatives
β’ Power BI development and dashboard creation
β’ Strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities to engage stakeholders at various technical levels
β’ Attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy and quality
β’ Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines consistently
β’ Analytical thinking with ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources
