Role description
Overview
Brooksource is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst IV to support a leading telecommunications clientβs Service Reliability organization, focused on improving the customer experience through analytics tied to network outages, impairments, and maintenance events. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and data engineering teams to analyze network reliability data, validate data integrity within the data warehouse environment, and deliver insights that inform operational and customer experience improvements. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate findings to both technical teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights related to network outages, impairments, and maintenance impacts on customer experience
β’ Perform data validation and ad hoc analysis using SQL and Excel within a data warehouse environment
β’ Collaborate with ETL development teams to integrate new data sources and enhance existing data structures, reports, and dashboards
β’ Extract and analyze data from databases and data warehouses to support reporting and operational decision-making
β’ Develop and standardize data collection, validation processes, and reporting methodologies
β’ Translate complex analysis into clear business insights for senior leadership and executive audiences
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and support reliability improvement initiatives
β’ Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and facilitate discussions around business intelligence findings
Required Qualifications
β’ 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and validation in a data warehouse environment
β’ Experience working with ETL development teams to integrate or modify data within enterprise data environments
β’ Proven ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leadership and executive audiences
β’ Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
β’ Self-starter who is curious, detail-oriented, collaborative, and effective in fast-paced environments
β’ Willingness to work onsite in Stamford, CT

β’ Experience with AWS Redshift
β’ Experience with Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy)
