Business Intelligence Analyst Job Type: W2, 12-month Contract Job Location: On-site, Urbandale, IA Pay Rate: $50.00/hour Role Overview As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will generate actionable insights and reports to personalize the customer experience and support better, faster decision-making. This role focuses on delivering customized BI dashboards and analytics for large agriculture customers, ensuring data is accurately structured and clearly presented. You’ll also communicate findings to both external clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities β€’ Extract and evaluate data to support BI development β€’ Create and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards for internal teams and dealer channels β€’ Organize and clean data to improve quality (accuracy, completeness, relevance) β€’ Automate operational reporting processes Required Skills β€’ 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools and storytelling (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI) β€’ 2+ years of experience in data cleaning, validation, and analysis β€’ 1+ years of experience using SQL or similar coding languages β€’ 1+ years of experience communicating analytics results to senior leadership and technical audiences Preferred Qualifications β€’ Expertise in QuickSight (highly preferred) β€’ Experience with big data platforms/technologies such as AWS, Data Lake, and Databricks β€’ Familiarity with AI and low-code applications or solutions β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor technical detail to different audiences β€’ Experience mentoring others in BI tools β€’ Background in agriculture Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative fieldβ€”or equivalent work experience.
