We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst for a fixed term contract to join our growing Data team within a leading wealth management business. This role will play a critical part in transforming data into actionable insights that support investment decision making, client reporting, regulatory transparency, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with senior leadership to design and deliver scalable analytics solutions aligned with the firm’s data strategy. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality service for private clients, trusts, and smaller institutions. Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally the business started out as an investment manager and has now developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the client relationship. Today Saltus manages and advises on over £10 billion of client assets, acquired through a combination of organic business growth and corporate acquisitions. What will you be doing? • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. • Implement scalable reporting architecture aligned with enterprise data governance. • Optimize performance of datasets, reports, and queries. • Deliver dashboards across multiple different departments across Saltus • Establish Power BI development standards and reusable components. • Implement role-level security (RLS) and data access controls. • Support compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA expectations). • Promote self-service analytics while maintaining governance controls. What type of person are you? • 5+ years experience within wealth management, asset management, or financial services. • Knowledge of regulatory reporting • Experience with portfolio management systems • 5+ years’ experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI. • Advanced expertise in: DAX, Power Query (M), Data modelling • Strong SQL skills. • Experience working with Azure data platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric). • Performance tuning and dataset optimization experience. • Experience implementing row-level security and governance controls. Where will I be working? We are looking for someone to be based out of our Whiteley and offer hybrid working, which includes majority of the week in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. What benefits do I get when working for Saltus? The salary is between £50-70,000pa depending on experience, alongside 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30-5.30pm.
