Role description
Job Summary (List Format) – Business Intelligence Analyst β€’ Generate actionable insights and reports to enhance the customer experience and support decision-making, specifically for large agriculture customers. β€’ Develop, customize, and maintain BI dashboards tailored to meet primary analysis needs of internal and external stakeholders. β€’ Extract, evaluate, and organize data to support BI development, ensuring data quality through cleaning and validation. β€’ Create and support data visualizations, insightful reports, and dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI. β€’ Automate operational reporting processes for improved efficiency. β€’ Communicate and present analytics results to both external customers and internal stakeholders, adapting technical detail as needed. β€’ Collaborate with customers via video chat (Teams) on a semi-regular basis, requiring strong verbal communication skills. β€’ Utilize SQL or similar coding languages for data manipulation and analysis. β€’ Leverage big data platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS, Data Lake, and Databricks (preferred). β€’ Train and mentor others in the use of BI tools (preferred). β€’ Apply experience in AI and low-code application solutions (preferred). β€’ Ideally possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience. β€’ Experience in the agriculture sector is a plus.
