Business Intelligence Architect

BI Architect Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience Location: Chicago, IL OR Irving, TX (3 days per week onsite) What’s in it for you? We are seeking an experienced BI Architect to lead the design and execution of a Tableau-to-Power BI migration. This role focuses on defining the BI architecture, ensuring data integrity, and delivering scalable, high-performance analytics solutions that align with business objectives. Skills: Mandatory: • Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Tabular models, and Azure Data Services • Hands-on experience with Tableau and migration projects • In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and BI architecture • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience with Power BI Service, Row-Level Security (RLS), and workspace governance Responsibilities: • Drive the end-to-end migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI. • Define and implement scalable BI architecture using Power BI and Azure. • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Optimize data models, ensure performance tuning, and establish governance practices. • Provide guidance to development teams on best practices for Power BI design, DAX, and visualization. • Set standards for dashboard migration, version control, and documentation. • Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture. Educational Qualifications: • Engineering Degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc) • Technical certifications across multiple technologies are highly desirable
