Salary: DOE Description We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and optimizing BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX technologies. • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI strategies. • Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights. • Utilize Informatica for data integration and ensure seamless data flow across systems. • Work with Maps API and other tools to integrate geospatial data into BI solutions. • Create and maintain documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), to ensure clarity and alignment. • Perform data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making processes. • Optimize existing BI systems to improve performance and usability. • Provide technical support and training to business users on BI tools and solutions. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance BI capabilities. Requirements • Proven experience with BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX technologies. • Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and analytics. • Hands-on experience with Informatica for data integration and management. • Familiarity with Maps API and geospatial data integration. • Ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users and stakeholders. • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging BI technologies.
