🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Tableau Developer 🚀 📍 Location: Tampa , FL (Hybrid) 🏢 Industry: Business Intelligence / Data Analytics 💼 Employment Type: Contact to Hire We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to lead the design, development, and management of advanced Tableau dashboards and BI solutions. This role will own the entire lifecycle of Tableau analytics, from requirements gathering to post-launch enhancements, ensuring high-performance, scalable, and insightful visualizations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the full lifecycle of Tableau dashboards and Tableau Prep Flows: requirements gathering, functional specification, prototyping, development, testing, UAT, rollout, and enhancements. • Develop, maintain, and manage enterprise-level reporting, analytics dashboards, and BI solutions. • Design and develop Tableau solutions leveraging Sybase, Big Data, and other backend technologies. • Integrate, cleanse, blend, and aggregate data from multiple sources to prepare datasets for visualization. • Monitor, optimize, and enhance Tableau dashboards and data sources for performance, ensuring fast load times and intuitive user experience. • Automate Tableau extract refresh processes for large volumes of data and create scripts for automation. • Assist in prioritizing bugs, feature requests, and architectural enhancements. • Design and implement Tableau APIs as needed and provide technical guidance on architecture and development. • Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to data integrity, visualization accuracy, and dashboard performance. • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval for maximum efficiency. • Conduct unit tests, develop database queries for defect analysis, and troubleshoot issues. • Manage Tableau Server and administration on Linux, including upgrades, installations, and content deployment automation. • Identify areas for automation to streamline business processes. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in enterprise BI development, preferably with a consulting background. • Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Tableau solutions. • Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. Thorough knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture. • Experience with relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase) and NoSQL or timeseries databases (MongoDB preferred). • Strong background in data mart / data warehouse design and development. • Experience managing unstructured data and writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. • Proficient in SQL query optimization and query plan management. • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
