Job Title: Data Visualization Consultant (Tableau & Data Engineering) Location: Remote Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Data Visualization Consultant with expertise in Tableau to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automate workflows using Tableau APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tableau Server management, migration to Tableau Cloud, and strong data engineering capabilities using Python for building scalable ETL pipelines. Experience with DBX is a great plus. Key Responsibilities: • Develop advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights. • Build automation solutions using Tableau APIs to streamline Tableau Server maintenance and content migration to Tableau Cloud. • Manage Tableau Server environments, including user permissions, scheduling, and performance optimization. • Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and integrate with Tableau workflows. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven visualization solutions. • Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the integrity of visualized data. • Leverage experience with DBX for data processing and analytics (preferred). Qualifications: • Proven experience in Tableau dashboard development, Tableau Server administration, and Tableau Cloud migration. • Strong programming skills in Python for data engineering, ETL development, and automation. • Hands-on experience working with Tableau APIs for automation and integration. • Knowledge of database technologies and writing efficient SQL queries. • Familiarity with data pipeline tools and frameworks; experience with DBX is highly desirable. • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
