Role description
Power BI Developer:
Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI reports and dashboards to support business processes and physician engagement. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with governance standards. Must have experience working with Microsoft Azure services as part of the BI solution stack.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• Perform data mapping, transformation (SQL, DAX, Power Query), and formatting.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and privacy of internal and external data sources.
• Create and manage complex queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Leverage Azure tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse) in BI workflows.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and technical staff for data-driven initiatives.
• Document BI processes and train internal teams on Power BI tools and report usage.
• Support data-related projects and oral exam administrations as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably with Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure for data integration, storage, and transformation.
• Strong skills in Power BI, SQL, DAX, Excel, and data modeling.
• Certification in Power BI or relational databases preferred.
