We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist with deep experience in Amazon QuickSight and Snowflake to design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions that drive data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate will transform complex data sets into intuitive dashboards and reporting frameworks while ensuring scalability, performance, and data governance best practices.

AMAZON QUICKSIGHT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Amazon QuickSight dashboards, visualizations, KPIs, and scorecards for business stakeholders. Collaborate with data engineers and business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. Develop and maintain Snowflake data models, including schema design, views, and performance optimization.
Write efficient SQL queries for Snowflake to support data transformation, aggregation, and semantic layer creation.
Implement data ingestion and transformation best practices using ELT/ETL tools and Snowflake utilities (Streams, Tasks, etc.). Ensure data quality, metadata management, and adherence to governance and security standards.
Monitor and improve BI performance, including dashboard load times, query tuning, and warehouse scaling.
Provide training, documentation, and support to self-service analytics users across the organization.
Establish version control and CI/CD pipelines for BI artifacts and SQL code (Git, DevOps).
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience with Amazon QuickSight (dashboard design, SPICE modeling, data preparation).
3+ years experience working with Snowflake — including schema design, data warehousing concepts, and performance optimization.
Strong proficiency writing advanced SQL for data modeling, query tuning, and analytical use cases.
Experience with data ingestion and transformation tools (e.g., Fivetran, Matillion, AWS Glue, dbt).
Solid understanding of data warehousing, OLAP, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architecture.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with AWS ecosystem components (S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, etc.).
Experience with version control and CI/CD best practices for analytics workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Data Analytics / AWS Solutions Architect or Snowflake certifications.
Experience with data governance tools and practices (data catalog, lineage, security).
Familiarity with other BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for comparative context.
Python or scripting experience for data automation and integration.
