Senior BI Developer (MicroStrategy & MS BI) Charlotte, NC or Denver, CO (Onsite – 5 Days a Week) Contract (W2) Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior BI Developer on behalf of our client in Charlotte, NC or Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MicroStrategy, Microsoft BI technologies, and SQL, with a proven track record of building data visualization solutions and enterprise BI reporting. This role involves designing and developing highly interactive dashboards, creating scalable BI solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that improve business processes. The candidate should be passionate about data visualization, analytics, and delivering high-quality reporting solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Skills • MicroStrategy • Microsoft BI (MS BI) • BI Report Development • SQL • Data Visualization • Agile Methodology • Strong Communication Skills Responsibilities • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and BI reports using MicroStrategy and Microsoft BI tools. • Configure and manage data connections and reporting infrastructure across BI platforms. • Design and implement advanced data visualizations and proof-of-concept BI solutions. • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting by querying databases using SQL. • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions. • Manage BI server content and user access when required. • Create documentation, presentations, and training materials to support BI tools and reporting solutions. • Work independently while managing multiple reporting and dashboard development requests. • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Qualifications • Strong experience in BI report development and data visualization. • Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy and Microsoft BI technologies. • Proficiency in writing, modifying, and executing SQL queries. • Experience working in Agile development environments. • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
