Job Overview: Our enterprise healthcare client is searching for a Senior Qlik Developer to join their new Analytics & Reporting team. This group will operate under a larger technical business unit supporting the integration, data integrity, and scalability of a newly acquired pharmacy network. You will be responsible for developing and modifying reports and dashboards using Qlik, providing connections to new and existing data sources, and helping to improve business processes by simplifying large datasets into easy-to-understand visuals. We are looking for a candidate to provide expert technical leadership, guidance, and support in formulating strategic approaches and data architecture for ideal performance. This position is responsible for designing and leading/supporting other developers in designing robust reporting and analytics, as well as defining and implementing standards and best practices. What You Bring to the Table: • At least 5+ years of experience in Qlik Development within an enterprise setting. This includes expert ability in report development and dashboard creation from scratch. • Prior healthcare industry/dashboard creation experience is required. • Prior pharmacy experience is very highly preferred. • Advanced/Expert Experience with Qlik Desktop and Server. • Strong proficiency with SQL, with understanding of all SQL fundamentals and ability to write and interpret complex queries. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Your Day at a Glance: • Own development of Qlik reports and dashboards for the Analytics & Reporting team. • Create definitions of new metrics to gauge performance and enhance existing data. • Deliver value through actionable insights, reliable metrics, and continuous improvement on 1) quality, 2) process, 3) visualization strategy, and 4) agility. • Write and execute SQL and Excel analysis to support ad-hoc requests. • Support efforts to capture new data elements from applications. • Support discussions with the ETL coding team and provide feedback and expertise while testing out new data sources. • Proven ability to present data insights in a way that presents a coherent story and addresses critical business questions.
