Business Intelligence Developer

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a BI Developer to work on their ongoing project in the Richmond, VA office. Below are the additional details of this role: Required Qualifications: • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject • Proven work experience in software development/programming • Proven work experience in using SQL, SQL Server, and related Microsoft products • Proven work experience in developing ETL and using Microsoft Visual Studio • Experience in using Python and one or more business intelligence tools • Experience in leading a project • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation • Experience in training team members with different experience levels on processes • Experience in creating data quality checks • Experience in developing a high level plan with estimates • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other agency employees • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and validate data accuracy • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work • Experience using Census Geocoder • Experience using APIs This role can be W2 or 1099/C2C and is open for anyone with valid work authorization in the US.
