Role description
Position: BI Engineer Location: Remote (must sit in one of the states below) Eligible States: FL, GA, NC, SC, TX, PA Must Haves: • 5+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics • (Open to candidates who transitioned from engineering into BI) • Azure • SQL • Power BI • Microsoft Fabric • Experience with ETL/data pipelining Plusses: • Experience in data science, AI, or machine learning • Agile experience, especially as a Product Owner or Scrum Master Day-to-day: Insight Global is seeking a BI Engineer to own and evolve all internal operational analytics systems. This is a hands-on individual contributor (IC) role with the opportunity to take on Agile leadership responsibilities (Scrum Master or Product Owner) within a highly collaborative Scrum environment. You’ll be responsible for building dashboards, reports, and lightweight data pipelines to support operations across the organization. • Own and manage all operational reporting systems • Design and build dashboards and reports using Power BI and Fabric • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights • Build and maintain lightweight ETL pipelines using Azure tools • Participate in Agile ceremonies and potentially take on a Scrum leadership role • Report directly to the Director of Product Management
