Description We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will design and implement advanced BI solutions that transform data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks, while contributing to data-driven initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize complex data sets. Manage BI workspaces, ensuring proper organization, access control, and security measures. Create and optimize queries for data transformation and analysis using DAX and other relevant technologies. Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks to streamline data processing workflows. Design robust data models to support comprehensive reporting and analytics needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions. Implement efficient data ingestion, transformation, and visualization processes to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all business intelligence platforms. Enable rapid deployment of BI solutions to support agile decision-making processes. Monitor and improve data security and compliance within the BI environment. Requirements Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard design and workspace management. Proficiency in DAX technologies and data modeling principles. Practical knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks. Strong understanding of data architecture and performance optimization techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
