Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Power BI) πŸ“ 100% Remote We're partnering with a leading healthcare enterprise (β€œClient”) that’s investing heavily in platform modernization, data transformation, and enterprise reporting automation. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in migrating legacy reporting into modern Power BI-driven analytics used across the organization. If you enjoy rebuilding legacy reports, optimizing data models, and working with large-scale datasets, this role offers meaningful impact and strong technical ownership. What You'll Be Doing β€’ Migrate legacy SSRS reports into Power BI and Paginated Reports β€’ Transition reporting solutions to modernized data sources and platforms β€’ Rebuild datasets and validate existing reporting logic β€’ Develop Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX modeling β€’ Design optimized semantic models and dataset architecture β€’ Use Power Query (M) for data shaping and transformation β€’ Analyze legacy SQL queries and rebuild using T-SQL β€’ Improve performance through model optimization and tuning β€’ Work with large and complex enterprise datasets β€’ Document technical decisions, logic changes, and dataset design Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development β€’ Strong experience with data modeling, DAX measures, and dashboard design β€’ Experience converting SSRS reports to Power BI or Paginated Reports β€’ Experience transitioning reports to new data sources β€’ Strong T-SQL skills for validating and rebuilding datasets β€’ Proficiency with Power Query (M) β€’ Experience designing dataset architecture and relationships β€’ Ability to replicate and improve existing reporting logic β€’ Experience working with large-scale enterprise data β€’ Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications β€’ Advanced DAX (time intelligence, optimization, advanced modeling) β€’ Experience building enterprise semantic models β€’ Experience with Power BI Report Builder / Paginated Reports β€’ Experience migrating reporting solutions in large enterprise environments Ideal Candidate You’ll do well in this role if you: β€’ Have migrated SSRS β†’ Power BI before β€’ Are strong in DAX and data modeling β€’ Can analyze and rebuild legacy reporting logic β€’ Enjoy optimizing large datasets β€’ Are comfortable working independently in a modernization initiative Why This Role Stands Out β€’ High-impact reporting modernization project β€’ Strong focus on Power BI architecture & DAX β€’ Enterprise-scale data and reporting environment β€’ Fully remote flexibility β€’ Hands-on technical ownership If you're a Power BI expert with SSRS migration experience looking to work on a meaningful modernization initiative, we'd love to connect.
