Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer Location: Seattle, WA (5 Days Onsite) Type: Contract (W2 Only) NOTE: We are currently seeking candidates for this position on a W2 contract basis only. Other employment types are not being considered. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines. β€’ Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights. β€’ Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar visualization tools. β€’ Perform statistical analyses using tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab to support data-driven strategies. β€’ Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or other databases. β€’ Use Python scripting for advanced data processing and modeling workflows. β€’ Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across business systems. Required Qualifications β€’ Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or related databases. β€’ Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, or similar). β€’ Proven experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. β€’ Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages, particularly Python. β€’ Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Prior experience working in MAANG or similar large-scale technology environment. β€’ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
