Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA (5 Days Onsite)
Type: Contract (W2 Only)
NOTE: We are currently seeking candidates for this position on a W2 contract basis only. Other employment types are not being considered. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines.
β’ Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
β’ Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar visualization tools.
β’ Perform statistical analyses using tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab to support data-driven strategies.
β’ Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or other databases.
β’ Use Python scripting for advanced data processing and modeling workflows.
β’ Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across business systems.
Required Qualifications
β’ Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or related databases.
β’ Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, or similar).
β’ Proven experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages, particularly Python.
β’ Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Prior experience working in MAANG or similar large-scale technology environment.
β’ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
