About The Role
Ipsen is seeking a forward-thinking Business Intelligence Manager to lead the evolution of our data and analytics landscape across the UK and Ireland. This high-impact role will drive transparency, efficiency, and innovation by enhancing Power BI reporting, strengthening data governance, and integrating AI solutions to support strategic decision-making.
You will play a central role in transforming Ipsen UK&I into a centre of excellence, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions that directly support business growth and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Power BI Reporting Evolution: Maintain and expand reporting systems, introducing advanced capabilities aligned with the latest Power BI developments.
• Data Management & Architecture: Design and manage a secure, centralised data ecosystem to improve accuracy, accessibility, and transparency.
• AI Implementation: Lead the integration of AI tools across departments, upskilling teams and positioning Ipsen as a leader in business excellence.
• Transformation Accelerator: Support cross-functional efficiency and resource optimisation, driving Ipsen’s strategic transformation.
Essential Experience, Competencies & Behaviours
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data management, or analytics, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or supporting agencies (e.g., IQVIA, SDG, CSL).
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Databricks.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) projects and data governance frameworks.
• Ability to identify data patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience & Background
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in pharma or data agencies supporting pharma clients.
• Exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies in business intelligence.
• Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
