Role description
Advanced Analytics Analyst, Provider Informatics As a member of the Provider Informatics team supporting the Patient First Care Navigation efforts, this analyst will be responsible for analyzing medical claims data, determining trends in member engagement, attribution, and utilization. The analyst will also support ad hoc requests and insights analysis. Care Navigation has several monthly production reporting processes, dashboards, and presentations that are used in cross collaboration decision making. The Provider Informatics Advanced Analytics Analyst is detail oriented, has a growth mindset, works collaboratively and asks questions, and can work within project deliverable timelines. With support of the Provider Informatics and Care Navigation teams, this contributor will work to support engagement analysis, build business knowledge and develop their technical skills. Key Accountabilities • Interprets data, analyzes results and generates both recurring and single use reports to support strategic, operational, and financial decision making. • Supports ET in the execution of PFH analytic dashboard production and enhancements. • Provides Care Navigation analytic support for both exploratory and production responsibilities in support of ongoing work. • Assists in translation of business questions into analytic hypotheses, data needs, and reporting requirements. • Supports efforts to continually improve data capabilities and quality of analysis and reporting. • Maintain monthly refresh process of data files that feed into the PFH executive dashboard. • Collaborate with the PFH analytic pod on the inclusion and validation of PFH partner provider and vendor data in PFH reporting. • End to end development of various insight analysis that measure the performance of PFH partners such as registration to attribution, PCP retention dashboard, mental health partner performance dashboard and others • Ad hoc request related to PFH partner analytics to inform business decisions. Skills And Qualifications • Current master’s degree student in related field (Finance, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Health Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, etc.) • Background or familiarity in healthcare or business analytics, code writing, and analysis visualization • MS Office proficiency (Excel required) • Data visualization software (Tableau preferred) • Excellent communication skills with a capacity for analyzing and conveying data to non-technical audiencesBlue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is an Equal Employment / Affirmative Action Employer.
