Position Title: PowerBI / PowerApp Engineer Location: Plano, TX Expected Duration of Project: 10+ Months Contract position with good chances of extension. Only W2. Where You Will Make an Impact • Power Platform/Power BI Solution Developer’s responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. • Develop and integrate solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python to extend the functionality of Power Platform tools. • Develop custom applications, dashboards, and automated workflows to address business needs. • Ensure all solutions are built for scalability, security, and ease of use. • Design of data models and implementation of data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools, using Power BI to deliver actionable insights. • Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and build dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. • Regularly update and improve data models, ensuring accurate and relevant data is available for reporting. • Connect Power BI to various data sources to ensure seamless data integration. • Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and lists. • Create responsive interfaces and enhance the user experience for Power Apps and SharePoint, leveraging front-end frameworks. • Collaborate with teams to document workflows, design process improvements, and train users on new automated solutions. Top 3-5 skills • 3 – 5 years of software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications • 2 – 3 years of experience developing Power BI solutions • 1 – 2 years of experience using the Microsoft Power Platform (including Power App and Power Automate) • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
