Iris' Direct Client, an American multinational financial services company which offers banking, electronic trading platform, and wealth management advisory services to both retail and institutional clients is looking to hire a strong Power BI / Python Developer for a Long Term Contract (12-18 Months) opportunity.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Skills: PowerBI and Python – Both are must
Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, and data visualization best practices
Strong hands-on experience with Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, APIs, scripting)
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and in SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations, stored procedures)
Application development and testing, building data integrations between systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure high quality technical delivery
Hands-on Experience in designing reports/dashboards using Power BI.
Hands-on experience in creating data models in Power BI.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data pipelines using Python
Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
Document process workflows, data flow diagrams
