Job Details β€’ Business Intelligence & AI Platform Administrator (Contract) β€’ Location: San Jose, CA 95110 or Lehi, UT 8404 (Hybrid) β€’ Duration: 07/06/2026 - 11/27/2026 β€’ Team: IDS Data Platform Job Description β€’ We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & AI Platform Administrator to own and support enterprise BI, analytics, and AI platforms with Databricks serving as the core enterprise data platform. This role will administer Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks while helping drive conversational AI and agentic analytics initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities β€’ Administer and optimize the Databricks Lakehouse including clusters, jobs, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, security, governance, and performance β€’ Manage enterprise BI platforms including Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Fabric β€’ Enable AI and analytics solutions using Databricks for data preparation, semantic layers, model serving, and agent workflows β€’ Design, maintain, and govern semantic models, certified datasets, business metrics, and metadata β€’ Configure conversational analytics and AI-powered reporting experiences across BI platforms β€’ Integrate analytics platforms with collaboration tools including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Claude, and custom portals β€’ Partner with Data Engineering and AI teams to support LLM, RAG, Copilot, and AI agent implementations β€’ Maintain connectivity, security, and performance across Databricks, SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, and AWS Redshift β€’ Perform platform upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and ongoing administration β€’ Support business users through troubleshooting, training, governance, and best practices Required Qualifications β€’ 5 to 8 years administering enterprise BI and analytics platforms β€’ Strong hands-on administration of Databricks including clusters, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, and jobs β€’ Experience administering Power BI and Tableau in enterprise environments β€’ Experience leveraging Databricks to support AI, ML, RAG, model serving, and agentic workflows β€’ Experience implementing conversational analytics including Power BI Copilot, Power BI Q&A, Tableau Pulse, or similar capabilities β€’ Strong SQL skills with experience in data warehousing, semantic modeling, metadata management, and lakehouse architecture β€’ Python or R scripting experience for automation β€’ AWS and/or Azure cloud experience β€’ Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor β€’ Experience supporting SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, and AWS Redshift β€’ Experience with platform migrations, upgrades, governance, security, and Agile delivery Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience integrating BI platforms with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Claude, or MCP-based solutions β€’ Azure OpenAI or Databricks AI/ML experience β€’ Alteryx experience β€’ Databricks, Power BI, Fabric, Tableau, AWS, or SAP certifications β€’ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Compensation β€’ Pay Rate: Up to $84.30/hour Requisition ID: 37388578
