Job Title: Power BI Reporting & Analytics Consultant Duration: January 29, 2026 – June 29, 2026 Location: Hybrid - 500 County Center, Redwood City, CA Position Type: Contract Hours Per Week: 40 Hours/Week Interview Type: In-person / Virtual Job ID: 193060 End Client: County of San Mateo Department: Human Services Agency Scope of Project • ESS Customer 360 Dashboard enhancement • ESS Analysis 360 Dashboard enhancement • ESS Executive Dashboard enhancement and monthly refresh • Homelessness Dashboard enhancement and quarterly refresh • CalSAWs Ad Hoc reporting • Reporting Infrastructure: Implement a unified reporting platform to support the agency’s reporting and analytics needs across all branches Responsibilities • Design, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports • Perform monthly and quarterly dashboard refreshes • Develop CalSAWs ad hoc and operational reports • Implement and support a unified reporting and analytics infrastructure • Solicit, document, and validate reporting requirements directly with end users • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions • Work independently while meeting project timelines and deliverables Required/Preferred Skills • Ability to develop reports using Power BI Report Builder on Oracle and MS SQL Server (5+ years) • Ability to develop complex dashboards using Power BI Desktop (5+ years) • Ability to develop automated workflows using Power Automate (5+ years) • Experience with Power BI Premium features (5+ years) • Strong experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • Resourceful with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good verbal and written communication skills Additional Requirements • Must be able to work in a hybrid environment (onsite and remote) • Onsite schedule will be dependent on work assigned • Onsite location: 500 County Center, Redwood City, CA V Group Inc. is a New Jersey–based IT Services and Products Company, strategically organized across multiple business units including Public Sector, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.
