Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Technician to design and implement a comprehensive data and analytics solution for the Bureau of Savings Programs. This role will focus on organizing, automating, and analyzing large datasets to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve marketing effectiveness, and support program evaluation and growth.
Duties:
• Act as a liaison between the business unit and IT to define, design, implement, and maintain data storage, management, reporting, and analysis solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable data specifications.
• Aggregate and standardize data from multiple sources to enable streamlined analysis.
• Use Microsoft analytics tools such as Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate for data exploration and reporting.
• Develop algorithms and queries to efficiently clean, validate, and process data.
• Perform statistical analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python to identify trends and insights.
• Create clear and actionable data visualizations and reports for a variety of stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions align with IT frameworks, security standards, and are scalable and repeatable.
• Recommend and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in data processing workflows.
• Establish monitoring processes to evaluate and sustain long-term analytics capabilities.
Required Skills:
• 5 years of experience in data analysis or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft reporting tools such as Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
