Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Technician to design and implement a comprehensive data and analytics solution for the Bureau of Savings Programs. This role will focus on organizing, automating, and analyzing large datasets to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve marketing effectiveness, and support program evaluation and growth.
Duties:
β’ Act as a liaison between the business unit and IT to define, design, implement, and maintain data storage, management, reporting, and analysis solutions.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable data specifications.
β’ Aggregate and standardize data from multiple sources to enable streamlined analysis.
β’ Use Microsoft analytics tools such as Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate for data exploration and reporting.
β’ Develop algorithms and queries to efficiently clean, validate, and process data.
β’ Perform statistical analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python to identify trends and insights.
β’ Create clear and actionable data visualizations and reports for a variety of stakeholders.
β’ Ensure solutions align with IT frameworks, security standards, and are scalable and repeatable.
β’ Recommend and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in data processing workflows.
β’ Establish monitoring processes to evaluate and sustain long-term analytics capabilities.
Required Skills:
β’ 5 years of experience in data analysis or a closely related field.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
β’ Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft reporting tools such as Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
