Role description
e&e is seeking a Business Intelligence Technician for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA! We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Technician to develop and support a comprehensive data analytics and reporting solution for savings and investment programs. This role will focus on synthesizing and interpreting large datasets to inform strategic marketing, enable segmentation, support decision-making, and assess program effectiveness. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders and play a key role in optimizing data processes and delivering actionable insights through visualizations and reports. Responsibilities: β€’ Serve as a liaison between business and IT to design and maintain data storage, management, and reporting solutions. β€’ Translate business requirements into data specifications and analytic strategies. β€’ Consolidate data from multiple sources into uniform formats for analysis. β€’ Utilize Microsoft tools such as Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Automate to develop efficient analytics solutions. β€’ Clean, process, and analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python to identify patterns and generate insights. β€’ Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. β€’ Implement scalable, repeatable automation processes for data cleansing, validation, and transformation. β€’ Ensure compliance with IT frameworks and security standards. β€’ Monitor the performance and sustainability of analytical solutions and recommend enhancements as needed. Requirements: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. β€’ At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role. β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Azure Dataverse, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Automate). β€’ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. β€’ Must be willing to attend periodic on-site meetings in Harrisburg, PA.
