Job Title: Business Systems Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Data Analyst to join our client's Data Science team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining a canonical data model for core data elements across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to core data elements.
β’ Support the design and implementation of a canonical data model that standardizes and harmonizes core data elements across systems.
β’ Perform detailed data analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for data improvement.
β’ Document data definitions, data flows, and data relationships to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
β’ Communicate findings, recommendations, and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Work proactively to identify gaps and propose solutions to improve data governance and data management practices.
β’ Assist in the development of data validation and monitoring processes to ensure ongoing data integrity.
β’ Act as a liaison between business units, data engineering, and data governance teams to facilitate smooth data integration and usage.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 10+ years of strong experience in data analysis, data modeling, or related fields.
β’ Proven ability to work with complex data sets and translate business needs into technical requirements.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
β’ Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
β’ Familiarity with data governance concepts and canonical data modeling is a plus.
β’ Experience with data tools and platforms commonly used in IDC or similar environments is preferred.
