Position: Business/Data Analyst
Location: Miami, FL - Onsite 2-3 days a week
Duration: 8-12 Month Contract to Hire

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Business and Data Analyst that also has Scrum/Agile experience. This person will be working closely with a Data team based in Seattle and will wear many hats.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
• POC for business when they have requirements needed from the database side and explain them to the business
• Understand got to gather data requirements, map out the requirements from the database
• Proficient SQL, Excel, Data Mapping and analysis skills
• Understand the different integration points (API’s) for the transformation, more so for when it comes to mapping
• Looking for not only the technical components but also the functional front end- writing user stories, BRD, requirements docs etc - this person will need to effectively communicate with IT and Business Stakeholders
• May play the SM and may PM at times (needs great comm skills)
MUST HAVES:
• Advanced SQL: Data extraction, querying, and validation
• Excel: Strong analytical skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• understand APIs, JSON & XML files data mapping: Basic understanding of API integrations, JSON/XML data formats, and source-to-target data mapping.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze datasets and validate data
• Business Analysis: Requirement gathering and documentation (BRD/functional specs)
• Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile environments and supporting project coordination
NICE TO HAVES:
• Experience in Data Analyst or Financial Analyst roles
• Exposure to data engineering or data integration projects
