The ideal candidates will be local to Atlanta and bring deep expertise in C++ development, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Prior experience working with Macyβs systems or teams is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance C++ applications.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
β’ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
β’ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning.
β’ Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
β’ 8+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development (preferably C++11 or later).
β’ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
β’ Experience with multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization.
β’ Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
