Job Title: C++ Lead Developer Location: Atlanta, GA (Local candidates preferred) Experience Level: 12+ Years Client Domain: Retail Job Description: We are seeking two experienced C++ Lead Developers to join our team for a high-impact project with a leading retail client. The ideal candidates will be local to Atlanta and bring deep expertise in C++ development, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Prior experience working with Macy’s systems or teams is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance C++ applications. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps. β€’ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. β€’ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning. β€’ Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Required Skills: β€’ 8+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development (preferably C++11 or later). β€’ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. β€’ Experience with multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization. β€’ Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. β€’ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). β€’ Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. β€’ Strong communication and leadership abilities.
