Role description
As a Campaigns Manager, you will join the Barclays Group Campaigns team where you will develop and execute the end-to-end integrated campaigns to support the delivery of Barclays UK Narrative, and to draft a range of communications materials suitable for a range of channels and audiences.
Key Accountabilities
β’ Work as a proactive member of the integrated Barclays Campaigns team, to plan and deliver a broad range of communications activity across PR, digital and social channels
β’ Create a suite of materials as part of campaign development and execution, including research, press releases, thought leadership, social content, website copy and more
β’ Source and analyse proprietary and research data to produce topical and timely content
β’ Identify strategic opportunities to showcase Barclays insights/raise profile of Barclays spokespeople
β’ Align with channel owners across the Bank including Marketing, Policy and Employee Communications to increase reach and impact of activity
β’ Build and foster key journalist relationships to improve awareness and consideration of activity
β’ Manage external agency partners, maintaining accountability for budgets and campaign delivery
β’ Evaluate and measure results, applying learnings to refine and improve future performance
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications
β’ Expert in media relations, with strong journalist relationships across national and vertical press
β’ Ability to draft research and review and analyse data to create compelling content
β’ Ability to draft a wide range of communications materials, especially those for journalists - to suit different channels and audiences
β’ Strong understanding of personal finance and the UK economic landscape
Desirable Skills
β’ Sound understanding of social media channels and ability to advise on content amplification approach
β’ Ability to project manage complex campaign budgets and identify efficiency savings
β’ Experience in managing project teams ensuring resource is used effectively
β’ Experience in reputation risk and issues management
β’ Experience in data visualisation/bringing data βto lifeβ

Purpose of the role
To gather, analyse, and present risk data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across the organisation, facilitating informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Accountabilities
β’ Development and maintenance of a variety of risk reports, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk reports, and regulatory reports.
β’ Extraction of risk data from various sources, including internal systems, risk models, and external market data feeds.
β’ Analysis of risk data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and assess the impact of risk exposures.
β’ Monitoring key risk indicators and metrics to identify emerging risks and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
β’ Development and implementation of risk reporting improvements and automation initiatives.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
β’ Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
β’ Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
β’ Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
β’ Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
β’ Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
β’ Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
