Job Description:
We're seeking a dynamic Capital Markets Analyst with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and financial data to support the development of data-driven solutions across trading, risk, and post-trade functions. This role blends technology fluency, and capital markets expertise to optimize workflows and generate insights for key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze trade, risk, and reference data across asset classes
β’ Partner with trading, risk, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
β’ Automate repetitive processes and contribute to tool development to streamline trade processing and reconciliation
β’ Support the enhancement of post-trade workflows, especially with T+1 settlement and regulatory reporting
β’ Document technical specifications, data dictionaries, and control frameworks
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ 4 8 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in trading, risk analytics, or operations
β’ Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries and developing Python-based analytics
β’ Solid understanding of market data, trade lifecycle, and financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
β’ Exposure to regulatory themes like Dodd-Frank, T+1, or Basel frameworks is a plus
β’ Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
β’ Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is advantageous
β’ Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
